Sue and Carole run Jigsaw Training and Development Services. Between them, they have over 55 years experience in Management and Training. They offer Ofqual regulated training courses in First Aid, Food Safety and Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults and more besides. Please go to Courses for more information. 

Sue

Sue Gibbs – Training Manager

Sue graduated in 1979 with a degree in combined studies, including education.

With over 30 years managerial experience in retail, hospitality and catering, Sue has been  delivering workplace training throughout her career.

For the past 5 years, Sue has been qualified to deliver Ofqual regulated courses.

Sue is a qualified instructor in First Aid, Food Safety and Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults, a Level 3 Assessor and her other qualifications include PTTLLS and a Level 3 Award in Training.

Carole

Carole Smith – Operations Manager

Carole’s qualifications include B.Ed(HONS) and a Certificate of Education. She has been a primary school teacher in a variety of school in Derby and on the Isle of Wight where her roles included SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and Early Years’ Coordinator.

Carole has also worked in nursery education and has led youth groups and children’s work in a volunteer capacity.

Carole has management experience in hospitality and catering and has created and developed health and safety policies and procedures including COSHH, HACCP and risk assessments. In addition, Carole has carried out operations and administration roles for businesses and charities.

She has an IOSH – Managing Safely award and is a first aid assessor and internal quality assessor for the business.
